The writing process

Every piece of writing goes through five stages:

1. Brainstorm — Come up with ideas that support your topic.
2. Outline — Organize the ideas in a clear and logical structure.
3. Write — Explain and turn the ideas into sentences and paragraphs.
4. Edit — Strenghten your writing. Make sentences concise. Make connections between ideas clear and explicit.
5. Proofread — Fix grammar, spelling, and formatting mistakes.
