You won’t have that sense of certainty about yourself unless you’ve done the work to build it up over the course of your training. If you have been diligent in your study or training, that is what makes you confident.
It is important to put yourself in a training crucible so you get practice responding to fatigue, responding to a mistake, responding to a setback constructively. You can’t let a negative moment dominate you. Your training should include stepping up knowing how to get it right.
