Doing nothing is the mediating factor, it stays between mediocrity and exceptionalism. You have to first pass through it in order to achieve personal success.
After spending some time doing nothing you will start to get ideas on what to do, for example, you may come up with the idea to go for a run, or to start your own business.
Set some time aside each day to work towards that new activity, and be really really specific with it, (e.g. say: 7-8 pm I’ll do gymnastics), this is really important to form a new habit.
