Doing Nothing May Be The Best Option

Doing Nothing May Be The Best Option

It is better to literally just sit around and think than it is to do the standard instant-gratification activities like scrolling through social media, watching Netflix, or eating junk food.

Acquire the awareness that when you do nothing, especially if you’re starting your self-improvement journey, you are still making progress.

I know, doing nothing may sound boring and useless, but it is still much better than indulging in instant-gratification activities.

Make Doing Nothing a Habit

Make Doing Nothing a Habit

There is a lot to be gained from this “free time” that you’re currently spending doing nothing productive.

  • Try to visualize your life as it is right now, with the habits that are holding you down, the same day repeated over and over, day by day, month by month, year by year. Are you happy with what you see after 10, 20, 30 years?
  • Now try to do the same thing but replace the bad habits with positive ones, like going to the gym, meditating, reading, and eating clean. What do you see?

Stop searching for answers, start listening to them.

This is why you’ve probably been confused about finding your purpose or true passion in life: because you don’t allow your brain to fully think without doing anything else.

Why You Have to Start From Nothing in Order to Achieve True Success

Why You Have to Start From Nothing in Order to Achieve True Success

Doing nothing is the mediating factor, it stays between mediocrity and exceptionalism. You have to first pass through it in order to achieve personal success.

After spending some time doing nothing you will start to get ideas on what to do, for example, you may come up with the idea to go for a run, or to start your own business.

Set some time aside each day to work towards that new activity, and be really really specific with it, (e.g. say: 7-8 pm I’ll do gymnastics), this is really important to form a new habit.

This app is LOADED with RELEVANT, HELPFUL, AND EDUCATIONAL material. It is creatively intellectual, yet minimal enough to not overstimulate and create a learning block. I am exceptionally impressed with this app!

I have only been using it for a few days now, but I have found answers to questions I had never consciously formulated, or to problems I face everyday at work or at home. I wish I had found this earlier, highly recommended!
