This is another method that allows you to calculate squares of numbers that end in 5 in one line but this method only works for the squares of numbers that end in 5 like 25 35, 45, 65, 115, and 125.Say you have to calculate a square of 35 then LHS is computed by multiplying 3 with its next consecutive digit which is 4 and RHS is always a square of 5So the result will be 1225In the same way, the square of 45 will be 2025And for 65 it will be 4225For more understanding, you can see the image given above.

An aspirant life is all about delaying gratification, they literally have to show up every damn day for a whole year and are expected to follow a very rigid study plan of 6 to 8 hours without any assurance and security. You’re not even allowed to be sick. If you’re an aspirant or a student I really want you to read this book because this book will be the most monumental book of your life and will literally save you from a lot of trouble.

The next book I wanna recommend is Atomic Habits by James Clear This book has led me to some of the profound epiphanies of my life. This book is the reason I have a habit of reading books. The thing about habits is that Habits are done in auto-pilot mode and if most of your daily habits are self-destructive then you’re literally ruining yourself day by day. Young people take these seemingly normal everyday habits as nothing but when you grow older you realise how they are the most important aspects of life because you do them every day.

4)Atomic Habits

So My Last recommendation is “Eat That frog” by Brian Tracy. Eat that frog is the ultimate time management trick that changed my life. So Every morning you should ask yourself what is the biggest and ugliest frog I have to eat today? Before you assume something weird let me explain that here "frog" is a code for your biggest, most important task, the one you’re most likely to procrastinate. It is also the task that will impact your life the most.

5)Eat that Frog!

So the Third book I wanna recommend Is Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis I have been promoting this book since the beginning of my youtube channel. This is one of my favourite books of all time. I have a gigantic vocabulary because of this book. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking to improve your English vocabulary. You will love this book if you’re an aspirant preparing for IQ tests like the GRE or IELTS or government exams like bank and SSC exams.

3)Word Power Made Easy

So you can multiply any large number by 11 using this method and the answer can be given at a glance. For example, if you want to multiply 11 by 25, you write the first and last number as it is and write the sum of the unit digit and the tens digit in the middle. Watch the above Image for a clear understanding. It comes seriously handy when you’re doing questions of simplification and approximation and data interpretations. It also comes in handy when you’re doing any questions that involve large calculations.

I wish someone told me about these books sooner.

5 Books Every Aspirant Needs to Read

1)Memory Mapping - This is one of the famous mental models used by several medical aspirants to memorize a lot of typical concepts. You will find some good youtube videos on memory mapping. 2)Peg system - This method is used to store information for a short amount of time.3)Memory palace - This is used to store a large amount of information. Some of the biggest memory champs use this method constantly. 4)Mnemonics - This is one of the oldest techniques used by all of us but few use this efficiently. This book will teach you all at length with practical Examples.

 Mental models to memorize anything

This book will literally change the way you schedule your day and look at the planning. People really undermine the importance of planning your daily tasks and it’s a monumental oversight. I have read this book twice and also talked about it in one of my videos. I highly recommend this book to all the aspirants who don’t believe in time management, planning and making a to-do list. It’s just a small book, it’s barely 100 pages long, and you can read it within a week.

I couldn't talk about all my favourite methods in length as this would make this blog too long. After Reading this book you will be able to find cube roots at a glance.you will find square roots much faster than an average student.There is so much more that I couldn't explain in a single blog. Read the whole Book if you're sincere about mathematics or struggling with it. If you're dyslexic or not as good as you think then this book will be a giant help.

My favourite Methods of Vedic Mathematics

The Second book I wanna recommend is How to memorize anything by Aditi and Sudhir Singhal. The amount of arbitrary information and random facts an aspirant or student needs to memorize is beyond terrifying, you’re not only supposed to know the exact dates of every historic event but you’re also required to memorize locations of all national parks, dams and god knows what not. And that is why I wanna recommend this book on memory training which will literally teach you how to memorize information like the top 10 mountain peaks of the world or the sequence of the first 10 prime ministers.

2)How to Memorize anything 

Productivity is not about doing everything, it is about getting done with your most important task first thing each morning.Further Rules to live by this principle: 1) If you have two frogs eat the ugliest one first.if you have two important tasks before you, start with the biggest, hardest and most important task first. 2)If you have to eat a live frog at all, it doesn’t pay to sit and look at it for very long.Discipline yourself to begin immediately and then to persist until the task is complete before you go on to something else.

Rules to live by this Principle

This book will make learning vocabulary so easy by using etymology. So Etymology is the study of the origin of words and Most English words have the same origin, they’re either taken from Greek or Latin. Like parity disparity disparaging, pair peers are made from the same Latin word “par” which means equal so parity means equality and disparity means inequality because of the prefix “Dis” and disparaging means insulting remarks more like unequal remarks and the peer is someone who is equal at the workplace and pair is two of same things, more like similar things. So the first book that I wanna recommend is How to become a Human calculator by Aditi Singhal. This book teaches you How to do complex mathematical calculations mentally with the help of Vedic mathematics and given that most competitive exams are time constrained the more calculations you do mentally the better. If you’re either a bank aspirant or an SSC aspirant or just some nerd like me who is trying to improve his or her mathematics skills then you will find this book seriously helpful. Let me show you some of my favourite methods that I found seriously helpful in this book.

1)How to Become a Human Calculator

For those who don’t know the history of Vedic mathematics, It dates back to golden-aged India where calculations were done mentally, there was no use of pen and paper. People used to use both parts of the brain effectively. They were not only analytical but also creative in that process. Vedic mathematics is a combination of both. We all know there are four main Vedas, Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda and Atharvaveda. All of these methods or sutras are taken from Atharvaveda. In due course of time, mind power and mental calculations are reduced.

History Of Human Calculators

This book contains several mental models which you can use easily to remember anything and never forget. Like if you wanna remember all the oceans of the world then just remember this sentence “I Am at Peace”The first letter of each word is an initial for an ocean and once you remember this, you never forget.IndianArcticAtlantic Pacific
