Sometimes it's the least you can do.
And sometimes it's the most.

At this juncture in my life, or perhaps should I call it a journey? Anxiety has become a part of my daily life. It's like  a ball bouncing off of me there is no stopping, Perhaps only intervals. But there is hope I think. As long as I am there, there is hope.

Anxiety

First of all I stop trying to "tame" it. Think of it like this , a mother differentiating between her own kids . What would happen? well the disaster is near.My normal thoughts and my anxious thoughts are from the same brain. What right do I have to differentiate between them? And the more I try to name it as a bad feeling , the more it increases my tendency to shift to "good feeling" which again increases my anxiety. You see ? it's  a vicious loop. Obviously we don't want that. We just want to break out of the loop . Right?

"Taming" my anxiety

So whenever I am troubled by my anxious thoughts, I give myself a little self-talk. Trust me it works.So , I say "Okay I am having anxious thoughts , anxious thoughts I accept you entirely . With my body, with my heart and with my mind. I completely accept you just like any other thought" And this talk has to be loud . Only then it can have any effect !  So the next time you are starting to have any anxious thoughts . Try this

The holder of an option contract is not mandated to exercise the option. If the market movement is adverse, he or she may stay out of exercising the contract. However, the writer of an option contract must exercise his side of obligation in case the holder exercises the option. Thus, options create one sided obligation.

In the money: if the forward price is lower than strike price
Out of money: if the forward price is higher than strike price

<ul><li>It is the movement of the underlying asset in the market. It is measured by taking ln(Spot rate of today/spot rate of day before). Log is taken as the distribution is log normal in nature.</li><li>Upon which we calculate the standard deviation.</li></ul>

What is Volatility

In practise, all option contracts are cash settled. Means there is no delivery of the underlying asset except in case of stocks.The cash value a holder gets upon exercising the option at current spot rate is called intrinsic value

For example, an investment bank agrees to write a call option with 100 google stocks at $100.00 per share and the current market price is $120.00. The intrinsic value is $20 per share
