As you walk your path, it is always, every moment of every day, curving either upward or downward.

The Slight Edge

The Slight Edge is a philosophy; it represents a way of thinking: what we know, how we hold that knowledge, and what we do.

Consistently repeated daily actions + time = unconquerable results.

The secret ingredient is straightforward: to do the small things over and over again until success kicks in. Most of these small things are extremely easy to do – such as choosing between a salad or a packet of French fries, saving a penny or spending a penny. Yet, compounded over time, they can produce massive results.

The Seven Daily Disciplines For Success

Every day we are either moving towards the direction we desire or further away from it based on the decisions we make which determine where we end up. No one fails overnight – nor do you succeed overnight.

The difference is in creating our own formula of daily disciplines in seven areas for success that we decide and then design for ourselves: your health, happiness, relationships, personal development, finances, career and our impact on the world.

The best news: you can start anytime you choose.

The Slight Edge: Obstacles

  • Things that are easy to do are just as easy not to do.
  • For the slight edge to work, you have to do something, and keep doing it until you succeed.
  • The results are not immediately visible. The small activities seem insignificant, so it’s easy to give up or stop doing the small actions required to deliver results.

The Road to Mastery

  • Closing the gap: Leverage the natural tension between Point A (where we are) and Point B (where we could be).
  • Harnessing the 5 sources of power: Momentum, Completion, Habit, Reflection, and Celebration.
  • Focusing on philosophy, not results. Focusing on results = focusing on the past).
  • Continuous learning: How to develop yourself continuously.
  • Turning your dreams into reality. How to set goals.
