Plan an at-home spa day, apply a face mask, meditate, or get a manicure to practice self-care. On the other hand, not everyone finds the same things calming.
One personal area is not for everyone. You cannot accomplish everything, and it is acceptable to say “no.” Boundaries exist to keep you safe, not to keep people out.
You can only help your family and friends if you have the energy to do it. Know your limitations and treat your time and energy as if they were sacred — because they are.
