The first step to solving a problem is acknowledging the problem. More so, to acknowledge that emotions, ultimately, are there for a reason: to serve or protect oneself.
So what is underlying the emotion? What can truly be learnt from the experience and emotion? Every event has 2 sides to it - what perception was ultimately developed from the event?
