3. Whenever you find yourself leaning towards your bad habits again, call yourself out. If you must, you can do it out loud.
4. Reward yourself. Whenever you did steer clear of your bad habits, celebrate your small wins. It could be of any form, candy, foods, things, etc. This reinforces the networks you're trying to build in your brain.
After a decent amount of effort, discipline, and consistency you will find the grass growing on the old track you don't use anymore while you were creating fresh tracks.
