Complete uncertainty, when our lives seem in total chaos is not a desirable state to be in, and we rightly should avoid that. The edge of uncertainty is a stateless problematic than an untethered life.
If we can find a little stability, we should move towards the edge of uncertainty, developing a growth mindset.
Most of us live to minimize uncertainty, as it seems like a cause of a host of problems like anxiety, frustration, health issues, financial problems and relationship issues.
But uncertainty is not the terrible thing we make it to be, and it is possible to find joy and delight in the feeling of uncertainty.
It can be tough to feel in control...feel you can manage your emotions and come out of 'all this' in one piece when life shakes us up.
Getting started & building momentum are sometimes the toughest things to do.
And these 2 steps can give us a huge start to getting back to life...build us up to be in a position to take further steps of shifting our thinking patterns and practicing resilience:
Simplifying life isn’t about following certain steps but is in the entire mindset of the person. Our mental habits are what creates the initial complexity, which needs to be eventually simplified.
We need to look at the root cause, and it is desire. The tendency of the mind to want more and more (to be happy), and yet want less at the same time (to be at peace). The resulting conflict and polarity are what creates the problem.
