Negative emotions are call to action. If we feel them it means we are supposed to do something. Solution lies in the acceptance and active engagement of negative emotions not the avoidance of it. Similarly, don't avoid or deny your problems, instead solve them.

Solution to emotional health lies in accepting the simple truths of life such as: our actions usually don't matter in the grand scheme of things and most of our life will be boring.
If you accept these truths you will feel more present and alive because the pressure to be something special and amazing will be lifted of your back. You will be able to enjoy the little things like a simple friendship, reading a book, helping someone or laughing with someone you care about.
