For No.5 we have “55 Questions to ask yourself” by Manoj Chenthamarakshan. This is the thinnest book, I have read so far, barely 40 pages long. We all have a tendency to ask blame-framing questions instead of doing that why not ask questions that empower you?  This book is full of important questions you should ask yourself in life to know yourself across all dimensions.

For No.4 we have a spiritual book named “As a man thinketh” by James Allen and this book talks about the power of thoughts and their effect on our health, body and circumstances; How we become what we think. This was my first spiritual book and I still come back to it from time to time. Highly recommended.

For No.3 we have a book that talks about the man and his most famous speech on Vedanta given in London, on 10 November 1896 which began with the words “sister and brothers of America”, yes I am talking about Swami Vivekananda and his Book on Practical Vedanta as a philosophy.

For No.2 we have “Eat that Frog” by Brian Tracy, one of the classics of all time on productivity. This book tells you about the importance of starting your day with the most important and hardest task. A good book for someone who procrastinates a lot. This book increased my productivity exponentially and made me an early bird from a night owl.

For No.1 we have none other than the Seven spiritual laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. One of my favourite spiritual books of all time. This book talks about seven spiritual laws of success which also includes the law of karma and dharma. And I discussed how to learn new skills from someone you admire and skip a few of the challenges you would have had to solve otherwise. Yet learning from the best is only a part of the experience. And most times, you will have to learn a few life lessons from your mistakes. But how can you effectively learn from your errors?

How to Learn from Every Experience

A few years ago, I was in a long-term relationship that was born during high school. But I wasn’t happy – I was comfortable.We didn’t have the same passions anymore. We didn’t enjoy the same things, nor liked how the other was perceiving life. But, instead of closing the relationship, we clung to it for many years until it became unbearable. And when she left, I didn’t know who I was anymore.For the first few weeks, I couldn’t bear the pain. But I soon realized I was a blank page and I could decide who I was and how I was supposed to live.

My life-changing mistake.

My breakup transformed me into a self-improvement geek. And from then, I fell in love with my growth path. But you don’t need life-changing events to learn a life lesson. Sometimes, all you need is a moment of self-reflection, and things like a breakup can force you to have them.

Mistakes don’t have to be critical.

1 – HonestyHonesty is one of the prerequisites you need. Without honesty, you won’t identify the problems that keep you from improving and won’t reach any conclusion.

Usually, I wasn't the one keeping the relationships alive. But I started to have trust issues.I thought I was the problem and didn’t know how to make new friends. Yet, if you focus on yourself and your skills, you will notice life is full of opportunities.

So you can try them out and see which one has better effects.Also, when you know your problems, your mind will search for solutions passively. So be honest and make a list of real issues. The mindset is the hardest thing to change, but it has to go.If there is a problem in your life, a part of your mindset has to switch, or you will never fix it. And most times, the part that needs a change deals with the comfort zone.So let’s use a rule that will make your life lessons easier: never say No unless you have proven facts of the negative impact of the change.
