Diversity Programme Biases

  • Prove it again - Certain groups are pushed to prove their over worth and worth again as compared to others.  
  • The tightrope of behaviours - Certain groups are allowed to behave in whatever way they want while certain others aren't. 
  • Tug-of-war - Minority groups are pitted against each other for a few limited opportunities. 
  • Maternal wall - Perception that mothers are not committed enough. 
  • Racial stereotypes - Certain races are being tagged as emotional, confrontational etc.
