What you need to know before practicing

  1. Its free: Practicing mindfulness is free, you don't need anything for it.
  2. There is no way to quiet your mind: It is not the goal to quiet your mind, all your're tying to do is paying attention to the present moment without judgement.
  3. your mind will wander: As you practice paying attention to what's going on in your body and mind at the present moment, you'll notice that many thoughts will arise.
  4. Your judgy brain will try to take over: Judgement is the second part of the puzzle.
  5. It's all about returning your attention back to the breath: Our minds are wired to get carried away in thoughts.
