Drinking enough water

75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. The one thing we can do to prevent chronic illness is long-term hydration.

Achieving a state of hydration is possible. The popular rule is eight cups of water a day. However, there is no one-size-fits-all. A better practice is to drink half your weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 120 pounds, your body will need 60 ounces of water a day.
