The only perception we have control over is our own. How we perceive our world influences our attitude, which in turn affects what we attract. If we perceive a world of abundance, our actions and attitude attract abundance. If we perceive our life as lacking what we need, we worry more about conserving what we have rather than attaining those things we want and need. Our brains automatically process what we worry about as a threat. This Then changes our perception and even our body chemistry.

Perception

Once Mahatma Gandhi said, "It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there will be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result."We may be equipped with tons of knowledge. We may have the best of skills, the most positive of attitudes and the strongest of beliefs. But if we wait for the right time and just keep planning, nothing is going to come out of it.

Stop Waiting For The Right Time

Our comfort zone is a dangerous place. It prevents us from improving, it stops us from achieving all the things we are capable of achieving and it makes us miserable. So, if we decide to bring about a change in our life, we need to shake ourselves out of our comfort zone.And this starts by asking ourselves some tough questions, questions that we have been refusing to acknowledge. We need to ask them to ourselves and we need to answer them also to ourselves. So, why do we resist? We resist because it makes us uncomfortable.

Comfort Zone: A Dangerous Place

There could be loads of reasons that we may not achieve what we wish to. We fail. We consider this a setback. Setbacks set us back. The biggest problem with a setback is that it requires more than the previous level of motivation to try again. We tried with a certain level of motivation, but could not succeed. Next time, it requires more self-convincing, more motivation, more efforts, more self-limiting beliefs to unshackle, more doubts and questions to overcome, more emotions to work on...to be able to get back on to our journey of life.

Setbacks

Action is the basis of all success. Every action may not give success but at the same time, no success is possible without action.

Any change that we desire requires constant learning and the skillful application of what we learn, to adjust our goals, strategies, and behaviors. But the most important learning we need to do involves learning from our own experience. This takes a whole different set of skills than those involved in absorbing what other people can tell us. The ancient Greeks had a word for this– praxis.Praxis is a four-stage process of:<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Observing our actions and their effects</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Analyzing what we observe</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Strategizing an action plan</li><li class="ql-align-justify">Taking action</li></ul>

Praxis

Awareness is the state of being conscious of something. More specifically, is the ability to directly know and perceive, to feel, or to be cognizant of events. The concept is often synonymous with consciousness. Awareness of our inner patterns of perception and reaction is the first conscious step towards transformation.Transformation does not lie in changing the past or controlling our environment. It lies within. What happens to us is not important. What happens in us is important.

Awareness & Transformation

Letting go is difficult. We get stuck in the same thought patterns over and over. We cling to and replay the past again and again in our minds. The desperate attempt to hold on to things limits our capability to experience happiness and joy in the present moment. Life is all about continuous change. No matter how hard we try to hold on to things, we will sooner or later be confronted with changes, whether we like it or not. The earlier we cease out attempts to own and control the environment we are living in, the faster we open up ourselves to new possibilities.

Letting Go

Through self-observation, mindfulness automatically streams into our life. The moment we realize we are not being mindful– we are mindful! We are now watching the mind instead of being swept off in its current. Any time we watch thoughts, we are being mindful. The key is– Don't believe your thoughts. Don't take them all seriously. Watch them, question them. In this way, thoughts and conditioned, reactive ways of living and thinking lose their hold over us. We no longer have to play them out.

The weight that comes with the feeling of failure is not caused by the reality of the failure itself, but by the personal perception of that failure and what that means to us.

Public Speaking Anxiety Tips: 6 Mindset Tips

While it’s okay to be cautious about threats in your surroundings, it’s equally important to look at the rewards of proceding if you wish to protect your mental health.Being overly cautious will lead you to associate cues in your surroundings with potential sources of harm rather than pleasure, also known as “attention bias”.

Don’t let yourself be too consumed by anxiety.

If you experience high attention bias in your daily life, you’d look suspiciously at the faces and movements of people who approach you, rather than, for example, the cuddly stuffed animals on the rack in the gift shop.

The Effects of Attention Bias

Having previous experiences in common environments which could cause distress is perfectly normal, and a valid reason to develop attention bias. At the same time, though, is it possible to let down your guard just a little in terms of your level of worry? If you try this in stages, you might be surprised at just how much better you feel.

Introduction

• Less effectiveare forced solving or withdrawed solving - (command based) negotiating doesnt solves any conflict, it hardens the confrontation	• Collaborationcan be effective when theres no one forced or withdrawed	• Smoothingis not clearly less or more effective, played down differences can block solution finding for a temporary ease of the situation. on the other side it can be used to connect with the conflict counterpart emotionally. if one makes sure to trigger only positive emotions, it can possibly lead to a compromise.

Methods

Speed & Volume<ol><li>Slow Speed seems dumber while Fast Speed implicates not knowing something well</li><li>Low Volume sounds as you are unsure and High Volume can possibly provoke someone (dominant)</li></ol>

Voice

<ol><li>Try to use positive words, every word will have a little emotional impact that influences how competent you seem.</li><li>Replace forcing elements with less agressive ones. "We must" - "We should"</li><li>Show your counterpart that you understood his feelings and offer discussion on that part. "What do you think could help to be more relaxing instead of creating anger?"</li><li>Critical Points in your discussion can get softer when you use unspecific descriptions of ones identity - "Most people would find it difficult that...."</li></ol>

Effective Conflict Behaviour

When— maybe after a pleasant stretch of self-compassion & confidence— we’ve realized our own faults & failures, the immediate response may be similarly directed doubts. Maybe we’re just generally wrong, overall inexcusable, or wholly idiotic. Worst of all, maybe we’re just a bad person.”

Mistake? Panic! 

But what if we instead told ourselves a different story? A small dose of self-pity can be sobering, considering life is a series of events that we’ve—for the most part— not chosen ourselves. How could we have known any better? No one seems to have all the answers— certainly not us— & living the unblemished life in a world of chaos isn’t easy.

Reassuring Acceptance

We can either choose the self-story which demands, “How could you be so stupid, you pathetic wretch?” Or the one which reassures, “To err is human, but to cling to our shame is unnecessary.” Maybe this time we can try giving ourselves a break, instead of beating ourselves up.

I've been thinking a lot about the human sense of contribution. The idea that everything you do matters is quite life-changing.And you can easily think that what you do doesn't matter that much. That you are only a genetic variation in an almighty multiverse. When you can truly reverse it and formulate a healthy way of viewing life and thinking that everything matters.

The Human Sense of Contribution 

I’ve been doing this exercise lately, where every time I’m going outside for a daily walk, I will pick up at least one piece of trash, of garbage. It doesn’t really matter how small or big it is, but only about leaving the world just a little bit healthier when coming back to my comfortable home after a day’s journey into the outside world. And I found that this helps my daily sense of contribution. And on a micro-practical level, it helps the world.

In today’s world where being a workaholic is glorified, most entrepreneurs seem to overlook the fact that energy, like time, is limited, and there’s only so much of yourself that can go around in a day. If you have ever made time to do something, but you were too tired to do it when the time came, “you missed the first step“. Time management and Energy management go hand in hand, Here are 6 tips to help ensure that you have the energy to do your work when the time comes.<ol><li>Get more sleep</li><li>Get organized</li><li>Delegate</li><li>Stay hydrated</li><li>Eat breakfast and eat nutritiously</li><li>Exercise more</li></ol>

Energy: Starting at the Very Beginning

<ol><li>Important/Urgent: These tasks are done immediately and personally, e.g. crises, deadlines, and problems.</li><li>Important/Not Urgent: These tasks get an end date and are done personally, e.g. relationships, planning, and recreation.</li><li>Unimportant/Urgent: These tasks are delegated, e.g. interruptions, meetings, activities.</li><li>Unimportant/Not Urgent: These tasks are dropped, e.g. time wasters, pleasant activities, trivia.</li></ol>

Planning with the Eisenhower Priority Matrix

I have two kinds of problems, the urgent and the important. The urgent are not important, and the important are never urgent.

It works like this:<ol><li>Decide on the task to be done. (You have done this at the Eisenhower stage)</li><li>Decide how long you want to spend on the task. This is important because “projects tend to expand with the time allocated for it.” </li><li>Set the Pomodoro timer (typically for 25 minutes).</li><li>Work on the task.</li><li>End work when the timer rings and take a short break (typically 5–10 minutes).</li><li>After three Pomodoro's are done, take the fourth Pomodoro and then take a long break (typically 20 to 30 minutes). Once the long break is finished, return to step 2</li></ol>

“If you give yourself one thing to do, it will take all day. If you give yourself two things to do, you get them both done. If you give yourself a dozen things to do, you may not get 12 done, but you’ll get seven or eight completed.”

Although we aim for perfection in our plans, true perfection is impossible and at the end of the day, you must reconcile yourself with this fact. Don’t try to squeeze all of your remaining tasks into one final hour, instead allow your time for planning and practice to become a habit, stop when it’s time to stop and take your Rest.

Reconciling your Progress With Patience and Acceptance.

At the end of each month look at everything you have been doing, see how they have influenced your objectives, what you need to change and what stays the same.Ask yourself:<ul><li>Where did you spend the most time?</li><li>Was your quality bolstered?</li><li>What unanticipated events affected your plans?</li><li>Did you stick to the time limits?</li><li>Was your planning overall effective?</li></ul>
