Since mankind sinned, we are all guilty of breaking God's law. This means facing physical death and eternal punishment in a place of separation from God also known as the "second death".
We sin every day and have fallen under God's condemnation.
Our punishment for sinning is two-fold: physical death and eternal separation from God.

Almost all atheists come from religious backgrounds but eventually question and reject those beliefs which are pushed on them (as on everyone on us) from family, friends & society.

A study from Aalto University in Finland explored 27 different types of love and how they manifest in the body:

<li>558 Finnish speakers answered questions about how they felt and how frequently they experienced these 27 types of love in their bodies.</li>
<li>The study highlights the diversity and complexity of love, showing that even within this one emotion, we experience variations in location, intensity, and controllability. It also acknowledges the inherent difficulty of defining and categorizing love due to its subjective nature. Ultimately, the research challenges a rigid view of love.</li>

Mapping love across the body

Researchers identified 27 types of love, encompassing feelings for humans (romantic, parent-child, etc.), non-human beings (animals, nature), and abstract concepts (wisdom, country). Their approach draws on the "prototype theory of love," which suggests certain types are closer to the core concept of love (e.g., romantic love).

Their aim wasn't to create a definitive list of all possible loves, but to investigate several key questions:<ol><li>Location: Where in the body are different types of love felt?</li><li>Nature: How does each type relate to emotional valence, physical/mental experience, and controllability</li><li>Similarity: How closely related are different types of love in terms of bodily and mental experiences?</li></ol>

All love types were felt in the head, though intensity varied. Stronger affections like true love and passionate love activated the chest more, while weaker ones like love of wisdom were mainly head-centered.

Location

Interpersonal love types were stronger than those for non-human beings or ideas. Within categories, true love, passionate love, love for life, and love for nature were strongest, while love for strangers and practical love were weakest. Interestingly, love for life and nature ranked as high as family/friend love and higher than self-love.

Self-love was the most controllable but least frequently experienced. In terms of "touch," self-love was stronger than love for life and nature, possibly hinting at its social nature.

Touch and Control

A strong correlation emerged between bodily and mental salience and valence - the more prominent a love in the body, the stronger it is felt in the mind and the more pleasurable it is. This link between body and mind suggests that love isn't just something in your head – it's a whole-body experience, and the stronger it feels physically, the deeper and more joyful it feels emotionally.

This research challenges the focus on romantic/parental love in psychology and neuroscience, contributing to a broader understanding of love's diverse landscape. Rinne hopes this encourages both theoretical development and public discussions about love in all its forms.

Or — and then she ( student ) gave all these different definitions of what yutori was to her. But one of them was… and after you read a poem just knowing you can hold it, you can be in that space of the poem. And it can hold you in its space. And you don’t have to explain it. You don’t have to paraphrase it. You just hold it, and it allows you to see differently. And I just love that. I mean, I think that’s what I’ve been trying to say all these years.

Taking time to admire the beauty and only talking about what’s in my field of vision. Creating pockets of time to do so. When we step into absorption with nature, as one example, and with no agenda except to see – well, spaciousness opens up.I can imagine that all of you have had experiences of spaciousness.It is easy for me to imagine how it happens with a poem, music, forest bathing, looking at the starlit sky or the full moon and other meaningful moments.Yet this snippet from the interview hints at the many more opportunities we have to savour our everyday.

The second Japanese term I want to introduce is Shisa Kanko translated to English as "pointing, calling, and acting". It's a kind of checklist, bringing consciousness and mindfulness to whatever you are doing, specifically when engaged in repetitive tasks. In Japan, Shisa Kanko was first used by train operators and is now widespread in industrial settings.

A 1994 study by Japan Railways showed a reduction of 85% of mistakes made by conductors when using Shisa Kanko. If you travel to Japan, you will notice this pointing and calling. So again, how is this relevant to coaching, you may ask? In the opinion of some colleagues, this was a tragedy, for Einstein isolated himself from the rest of the scientific community during the latter part of his life to pursue a lone quest that remained unfulfilled at his death. This is an original, insightful look at one of the greatest geniuses of all time who did so much to shape our vision of the world.
