• Our identity is wrapped up in what others thinks of us-or, more accurately, what we think others think of us.
• most of our efforts at self-improvement are really just us trying to meet imagined ideal
• Unconsciously we’re all method acting in some degree. We have so many different personas in different situations.( work, friends, school, family,…)

Requires actor to live like his character as much as possible in order to become the role he’s playing

We make life choices using twice- reflected image of who we might be, without really thinking it through

actors sometimes gave correct answers and sometimes purposefully not. Real participant answered last and was often influenced by previous responses (although responses were clearly wrong)

This phenomena is called groupthink
