  • Panic attacks can arise because there is a family with a history of panic attacks or panic disorder
  • Then, there has been a traumatic event, such as a major accident or sexual harassment
  • Besides that, there are big changes in life, such as being left by someone you love, getting divorced, or having a new child in your life.
  • Have a history of physical or sexual abuse in childhood
