You only need about 30% fluency in a handful of technical topics to develop your digital mindset.<ul><li>Learn core tech terminology. Why Should One Read Faster ?

Try and Reduce subvocalizationif you try and Reduce speaking of what you're reading in the book, it can take your reading speed to next level because now you can just blitz through a lot of stuff.Read the middle parttim Ferris has talked about this idea in his video as well.Thay due to our very good peripheral vision we don't need to start every line from the first word, we can instead start itbfrom the middle or from one word after the start.

Use a pointerUsing a pointer can be particularly useful in reading physical books.Because our eyes move in steps ( they don't move smoothly on their own ). But if eyes follow a pointer or finger while going through the book it'll turn into smoother movements and save a lot of time.Gamify reading fastSometimes when reading gets boring, then you can gamify the whole experience, like let me see how must fastbcan I read this book without affecting my comprehension of the subject.It would make the whole experience a lot of fun and interesting.

Make a summarymake an active summary of the book, like..<ul><li>What's the books is about in my opinion</li><li>Summarise the books in 3 sentences</li><li>3 best quotes</li><li>Who should read it</li><li>How it changed me</li></ul>You get the idea.It will help in active recall of the book and also to meke sure that you've goten the core of the book in reading fast.

How to SPEED READ

The key to implementing this strategy is to make one stack of concept cards, and a second stack of instructions. These instructions will guide you through exploring and understanding the concepts in new ways. Here's how!

Flash Card

Use your notes or your textbook to identify key concepts in the material. On one side of a flashcard, write the name of the concept. On the back of the flashcard, write the definition. Once you have made flashcards for all of your concepts, move on to step 2.

Step 1

Make a stack of instruction flashcards that invite you to interact with and elaborate on these concepts. Use a different color flashcard or different color pen to keep these separate from your concept flashcards. <ul><li>Describe a movie/television scene that depicts this concept</li><li>Describe how an animal might portray this concept</li><li>Describe this concept without using any key words written on the flashcard</li><li>Give a real life example of this concept</li><li>How would you explain this to a child/someone who has never heard of it before?</li><li>Draw this concept</li><li>Why is knowledge of this concept useful to you?</li></ul>

Step 2

Once you have two stacks of flashcards, you are ready to study! Shuffle both stacks, but keep them separate (color coordination of the flashcards is helpful). Select one card from each stack and follow the instructions in regards to the concept that you selected. It is important to write or say aloud your responses to ensure that you can formulate and execute an answer.

Step 3

After you have gone through all of your concept cards, refer back to your notes or textbook for any concepts you had trouble with. Make sure you write or say aloud a correct answer.

The Vietnamese soldiers were using these forests as their prime weapon for cover and had remarkable tactics for using it to their advantage. To the cause the US wasn't able to defeat them even in a span of 3 yrs.

One among the rainbow herbicides, named because of the orange label around the container. At those times, the Monsato company was producing this deadly chemical.The liquid once sprayed doesn't gets washed out even after yrs due to its consequent oil texture. It contains the TCDD dioxin one among the dangerous 400 herbicide category.

Agent Orange

The airplanes were used for spraying the chemical over the forests, which covered a couple of farmlands over a span of 6 yrs they defoliated all living elements with a 60000 Kg of Agent Orange.

Devil's Airplanes

Aftermath was totally brutal as the misery was spread through the farmlands of rice, paddy and corn which were poisoned along with the battlefield of soldiers. The innocent citizens consuming the crops tragically died unknowning to the reason.

Remains Of The War

and T - 2 Diabetes, Chloracne, Soft Skin Saroorna, Muscular dysfunction hormone and many more diseases were registered after the battle. Some of the US soldiers themselves were found with cancer and early deaths.

The first stop for most travellers in a new destination is their hotel or hostel. Arrive in the mid-afternoon so that you can really see what kind of area you're staying in. A safe area will always look better in daylight. You will be able to find your accommodation more easily and if you don't like it, you will have time to make other arrangements.

Even those who do not like maps are advised to look at one and get the lay of the land. For example, if you were to look at a map of Toronto you'd note that the lake is south no matter where you are in the city and the CN Tower stands high near the lake. If you get turned around looking for the tower. If you can't see it, ask someone which way the lake is. Not everyone knows north and south but locals know where the lake is. The same logic can be applied in New York City and many other cities based on major landmarks.

The need to achieve more with fewer resources at a faster pace is the new normal for business leaders, who are facing an ever-growing list of new and old demands. The aims of coaching are always admirable, but many coaching solutions are essentially focused on making a person feel better or delivering a mindset shift, in the hope that this will translate into behavior change in the workplace — and that’s not a given.When done well, coaching can provide results such as improved employee retention, confidence, job satisfaction, reduced stress, productivity boosts and revenue growth.

The science of effective coaching

Traditional coaching focuses on matching coaches and coachees, often based on factors including personality, gender, etc., despite little scientific evidence for empowering growth. How coaches build trust and a working partnership with their coachee, and setting out to challenge mindsets and support behavior change. If you’re choosing coaching based on the coach alone, at best, you’re investing time and money in an inconsistent approach which may not deliver tangible improvements, and, at worst, you might be investing in a relationship which could be actively detrimental.

Why traditional methods aren’t working

Fast. Goal-focused. Solutions-orientated. Measurable. These are the qualities of effective coaching that make an impact.Approaches built on solution-focused therapy, behavioral enablement and mastery experiences have been shown to be more effective in generating solutions to a problem and achieving goals than the typical approach of exploring difficulties (which can be outright counterproductive). Let’s break down these three elements:

A fresh perspective

Rather than spending time thinking about the problem that currently exists, the reasons for it and the strengths and weaknesses of the individual that led to this — solutions-focused coaching approaches jump straight into asking what needs to change and the steps to get there.

1. Solution-focused therapy.

A key element that determines whether coaching can improve performance is whether there is behavioral enablement in place to overcome the intention-behavior gap. In traditional coaching, the intention–behavior gap creates good intentions for action that people will do in their own time, but those intentions don’t translate to the desired behavior. Effective coaching will acknowledge the intention-behavior gap and equip participants with the tools they need to turn intention into action.

2. Behavioral enablement.

Mastery experiences involve creating a sense of continual progress and achievement for the coachee by regularly meeting self-set standards of improvement. This is accomplished by setting achievable goals and focusing on achieving this goal before moving on to the next one — rather than focusing on several different priorities or goals at once and chipping away at them over time.

3. Mastery experiences.

Many traditional coaching solutions involve sessions spanning six to nine months, with that time spent setting goals and talking through problems. Having a set number of sessions to achieve goals keeps a tighter focus on what you want to get out of each session and can result in more action-focused change.On the other hand, with more sessions, you risk having more time for distractions, ruminating over the current challenges and taking your attention away from the real goal: taking action to change.

More doesn’t mean better

Creating a scalable learning strategy connected to metrics like performance and organizational priorities is a great foundation for observable, measurable coaching results.3 important metrics for tracking discernible, measurable behavior change.<ul><li>First is internal change: this involves measuring the psychological constructs that predict behavior change.</li><li>Next is behavior change, which measures whether the individual’s behavior has changed in the real world.</li><li>Finally, it’s important to measure outcomes which showcase impact through engagement surveys, financial results and productivity metrics.</li></ul>
