In 1819 the person known as the father of computer Charles Babbage faced the Mechanical Turk and off course he loosed his matches against him but by the loss the idea of machine thinking itself strikes in his head and after 2 years he developed his Computing Device usually known as Computer these days so many people were afraid and some were inspired.

So now you probably thinking that this is some sort of time travel mystery or you may link this story to the alien whatever but the reason behind this whole Mechanical Turk was something other than this and Edgar Allan Poe himself discovered the truth behind this machine.

It basically talks about the possible fundamental particle of mass, and the presence of other dimensions of space-time.

What is string theory?

<ul><li>The problem faced in newtonian physics(and by Newton himself) was that, although he could mathematically calculate gravitational pull, he was baffled by HOW this gravitational force was exerted through an inert medium like space on a celestial object so far apart.</li></ul>But it could be successfully, mathematically be applied to astonomy, except for the 'how'.

Now, coming to Einstein's era,he postulated that,<ul><li>space time has got 4 dimensions(including time), (like Newton did), but he also managed to explain the how, which Newton couldn't.</li></ul>According to Einstein, <ul><li>without any matter on the fabric of space time, it appears to be flat and linear</li><li> when matter is present, this space-time fabric warps and curves around that matter, alongwhich gravity attracts.(check pic)</li></ul>

<ul><li> Theodor Kaluza, theorized that electromagnetism(just like gravity) exerts its effects as warps and curves in a 5th dimension (including time).</li><li> Furthermore, using the assumption of the existence of a 5th dimension, he could also successfully mathematically derive out, not only einsteins equation, but also the equation for electromagnetism.</li></ul> That is it formed the basis of a unified theory, where every other physical theories could be derived from.

<ul><li>The geometrical shape of the ultramicroscopic landscape, is called as Calabi Yau manifold, and is postulated to be one which folds in on itself.(see pic) </li><li>The shape of the landscape is thought to be what determines how the filaments of energy vibrate. </li></ul>

<ul><li>Since, we have only observed the existence of 4 dimensions(including time), but have mathematically figured out the existence of 7 more dimensions, many experiments are being conducted to empirically observe them.</li><li>One such experiment, done in the large hadron collider, where, particles moving near the speed of light are allowed to collide head on, to see if any resulting debris (called as gravitan) enters into any of these unknown dimensions.(This is calculated by measuring the total energy before and after the collison, lesser energy after the collision implies energy has been lost somewhere).</li></ul>

Make a list. Are there any important things that you’ve wanted to do but never started? How important are they? What is making you delay them?
Understand whether and how these things are important. Then decide how to tackle the challenges preventing you from starting them. When everything is clearer, make a plan and follow it.

Clear Your Procrastination List

Daily practice of mindfulness will help you detach from your emotions and watch them from above. Many times we are worrying without recognizing it.
Worrying is the biggest unhelpful thing that can occupy our minds. It takes up so much space that we can’t enjoy the present. Mindfulness will help recognize it as soon as it emerges. When it does, acknowledge it and let it pass like a cloud in the sky, then move on with the present. Don’t let your worrying control you.

Stop Worrying

When you ignore or delay something that you promised to do, it still stays on top of your mind. Whenever you do something else, your brain will remind you that you should have been doing that other thing instead.
This is not helpful. Declutter the negative emotions for yourself so you can free up space for productive action.

Follow Through on Promises and Commitments

We can’t focus on ourselves when our brain is occupied with emotions related to someone else, or anger and hate of the world. We need inner peace before we can focus on the present. Let go of those emotions that you bear inside.

Even though I play it every day, I still feel a sense of accomplishment when I do it: it makes me feel smart, and people like that.

Codifying humanity: Can humor be reduced to an algorithm?

video games as we have established previously is <a href="https://informationprime.wordpress.com/2021/10/23/the-three-traditional-forms-of-art-explained/">a form of art</a>(combining visual and performing arts) and we know that all art is subjective, you like what you like. However every good art still has core elements like; <a href="https://informationprime.wordpress.com/2021/12/29/how-to-improve-your-drawing-with-negative-space/">negative space</a>, proportion, value, composition etc. therefore if we tried to find some dominant features across successful video games, it shouldn’t be impossible. should it?

What Makes A Video Game Great

Consider a simple yet evergreen game like Tetris. There is no storyline just a classic easy to understand gameplay, it goes to show that a game with good gameplay and easy to understand controls can make up for any lapse in other areas.You may say “oh Tetris is an old game!” but even in modern games like Call of Duty, for instance, the importance of excellent gameplay still rings through, most people don’t even bother with the campaign, they’re more interested in the multiplayer. This is true as well with Fortnite and PUBG.

With many other games, realism would not be one of the first things criticized but with sports titles, it is essential. The nearness of the in-game characters to the real-life sports stars they try to mimic is critical to their success. Yet, graphics and design don’t always have to be realistic to be engaging and a big example of this is the borderlands series and its cartoon-inspired Cel shading. However, with every FIFA/Borderlands, there’s always Minecraft.The important thing with graphics then maybe that the game’s art style should fit the objective it pursues and the story it tells.

The concept of challenge and reward cannot be more vividly explained than with a mission on grand-theft auto. The balance of challenge and reward is something Rockstar games have mastered over the years and not just with individual missions but from getting control of zones and gangs on San Andrea’s, to getting Diaz’s mansion in vice city or being filthy rich in liberty city the balance of challenge and reward ensures that players feel a sense of accomplishment after overcoming a difficult mission or level.

A good story becomes essentially important if a game is a single-player only experience like the aforementioned title. The gameplay alone will not always save such a game. Other good examples for this are the Batman Arkham Series and Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed seriesA great story can keep the player immersed in the game, players become attached to the characters and want to continue playing to see how the story unfolds, just like I did with Kratos.
