And you haven’t achieved much of what you imagined.

Productivity is not about filling your day with millions of tasks and doing none of them. It’s about making smarter choices that help your body and brand work more efficiently.  So, if you tweak your daily routines, you will achieve most of your goals.In this article, I wrote 45 simple ways to become more productive and change your life forever. Morning people tend to be more proactive and have more opportunities to succeed. So, wake up early and establish a good morning routine to tell your brain it’s time to work.

1 - Set your alarm to get off 5 minutes earlier every day until you wake up early in the morning (6-7 a.m.)2 - Move your alarm clock to force yourself to get out of bed to stop it.3 - Use natural light to help your body wake up without any artificial help.4 - Meditate for at least 10 minutes to get in the zone.5 - Exercise for at least 10 minutes to wake up your body.6 - Drink a glass of water to activate your metabolism.7 - Have a healthy breakfast to get in the mood for productivity.8 - Write a diary for 10 minutes to warm up your brain and focus abilities.

Most people perform at their peak before lunch because of the spikes in concentration and alertness. So, use the first part of the day to plan your work efficiently. Then, use your laser-sharp focus to get things done.

9 - Start working at the same time every day to make it a habit.10 - Write your to-do list or <a href="https://cosmopolitanmindset.substack.com/p/the-second-brain-method">check your second brain </a>to see what you must prioritize.11 - Resist the urge to check your e-mails until you finished your planning.12 - Use specific, achievable, and time-bounded tasks.13 - Set your phone on “ Do not disturb ” to <a href="https://www.cosmopolitanmindset.com/20-sneaky-procrastination-traps-that-almost-ruined-my-life/">avoid any distractions</a>.14 - Let other people know you won’t be available until you finish your first work session.15 - Eat the frog and complete the most challenging task of the day first.16 - Work on intervals of 30-60-90 minutes to plan your tasks easier.

17 - Track your time and set deadline limits. If your time has finished, move to the next task even if you haven’t completed the task to avoid chain delays. You will get back to it later if you save time elsewhere. 18 - Delegate or schedule in container slots all the micro-tasks that could take less than 10 minutes to finish. 19 - Don’t multitask to avoid context-switching delays. 20 - Keep a <a href="https://www.cosmopolitanmindset.com/idea-journal-best-tool-for-creative/">journal for any idea</a>. You don’t have time to think about it now.

21 - Avoid large meals that make you tired and slow down your mental capabilities.22 - Take a walk to keep your body awake and activate your metabolism.23 - Work standing up to keep your energy levels high.24 - Take a 10-minute power nap if you can.25 - Do more easy tasks when your energy levels start to drop. 26 - Work on your <a href="https://cosmopolitanmindset.substack.com/p/how-to-become-more-creative">creative ideas </a> and micro-tasks.

You might waste a lot of time commuting to work and back home. But you can use it as an opportunity for personal growth and relaxation.

27 - Listen to podcasts to learn new things or relax your mind.28 - Set a goal you want to achieve before the day finishes. 29 - Read the latest posts on productivity and personal growth to remain motivated.30 - Follow an online course to learn new skills.31 - Prepare for any public speaking tasks you have to do during the day.32 - Walk or go to work on the bike.33 - Be mindful when you drive , and don’t make it an automation.34 - Talk with people on public transport to learn new things and make friends.35 - Read a bookmarked article you haven’t had the chance to recover yet.

Your evening routines should all have one goal – a great night’s sleep. Sleeping well makes you wake up more energized and productive. So, do everything in your power to <a href="https://www.cosmopolitanmindset.com/7-day-better-sleep-challenge-small-changes-make-the-difference/">improve your sleep</a>.

36 - Create a time threshold to stop working and thinking about work.37 - Avoid checking your phone too much to limit the effect of blue light on your sleep quality.38 - Prepare a generic to-do list with your most important tasks.39 - Stretch your body for 10-15 minutes to get tired for bed.40 - Avoid caffeine at least 6 hours before bedtime.41 - Read a book to help your mind transition into the sleeping mood.42 - Avoid alcohol to limit sleeping disruptions in the middle of the night.43 - Avoid high-fat meals that make it harder to sleep.44 - Use dark curtains to block our natural light.
