It’s easy to assume we know what someone else is thinking, but that often leads to misunderstandings or missed opportunities.Question to test it:How can I find out what the person in front of me is thinking of this idea? This question reminds me to seek clarification instead of assuming, which opens the door for more effective communication.

BIAS 1: I Can Guess What People Think

Visualizing the bigger picture is often seen as a strength, but it can also limit your ability to see alternative outcomes.Question to test it:What are different outcomes that I can see, and how different is the bigger picture with different outcomes?By exploring various scenarios, you ensure that your vision is flexible and adaptable, which is crucial for long-term success.

BIAS 2: I Can Already Visualise The Bigger Picture

This bias often leads to rushed decisions without fully understanding what’s at stake.Question to test it:What do we really want to achieve? Is it the success of the project or to shine?Understanding the real goal behind your actions helps you focus on sustainable success rather than short-term visibility.

BIAS 3: If We Don’t Start Acting Fast We Lose Our Spotlight

While it’s great to be passionate, it’s a mistake to assume everyone shares the same level of enthusiasm.Question to test it:What is the motivation behind each member’s work inside this project?By understanding each person’s unique motivation, you can better align the team and leverage their strengths.

BIAS 4: Everyone In The Project Is As Passionate As I Am

Action is important, but it’s not the only measure of progress.Question to test it:What are the important elements of progress that we should take into account?This question encourages you to recognize the value in planning, strategizing, and learning, which are also key components of progress.

BIAS 5: We Are Only Progressing When We Take Action

Speed is often mistaken for efficiency, but slow doesn’t always mean ineffective.Question to test it:What other skills do slow people have, and how can we use them at their best?This perspective allows you to appreciate different work styles and utilize every team member’s unique contributions.

BIAS 6: Slow People Will Hold The Team Behind

Aesthetics matter, but content should always be the priority.Question to test it:What are the elements that make a presentation good?Focusing on both the visuals and the substance ensures your presentation delivers value and makes a lasting impact.

BIAS 7: A Good Presentation Is More Important Than Content

Assuming that everyone shares your priorities can lead to frustration and misalignment within the team.Question to test it:What is the common goal of everyone? How can I find it out? Always focus on building your own assets, whether that’s through investing, starting a business, or other wealth-generating activities. Even if you have a job, create income streams on the side that will eventually replace your need to work for others.

Although we have been successful in our careers, they have not turned out quite as we expected. What Is Love?

Most people express their love in this way.Exciting, igniting and full of passion.Fire is the shortest example of life. For it to burn, it must consume what gives it life. A life taken for a life given.Fire provides warmth but at the slightest absence of attention, one can lose control of a flame that could burn them to their bones.Treat this love with care and learn to dump a bucket of water over a fire you’ve lost control over.

The Love Of fire

Not many compare love to water, but I think it’s one of the most important types of love.Shapeshifting, everlasting and full of nourishment.Water the things and people you love, daily… not just on holidays. Anytime is a time for love. And water gives without expecting anything in return, in my opinion, an important part of this love.

For the moments that wiz by.A polite gesture or laughter with a stranger. A moment that passes by before you realize it’s gone.Don’t be afraid to love “pass-by” moments. Be present in the moment and be kind to those you pass by. This kind of love can lift a strangers day or even save a life.

The base, where it all starts and ends.The love of your family and closest friends.It’s always there, but don’t take it for granted as if you don’t care for your land, it goes to waste. Water your land, care for it and protect it.

Love Of Earth

The love that most think of last but, I feel should take priority over all.Love is easier to give and receive when you value who you are. When insecurities and values are present, love comes naturally, even in hard times.You’ve already made it… you are worthy, enjoy life, explore yourself and learn to love yourself.Love is contagious.

Love Of Self

After asking this question to so many people, I realize we don’t talk about love enough.We assume we all see, give and receive love the same way. But we don’t.Ask your partner, family and friends this question, it will give you lots to think about. Learn to express and talk about love if you want to be loved. Love has 0 expectations and 0 assumptions.
