Usually associated with reward but tend to be more related to motivation craving.For example; about enjoying some food, dopamine is not really involved in the enjoyment of eating the food but more towards the motivation to get the food; it's the thing that push to get the food.So it's not really a signal or reward but more about driving of motivation/craving to seek the rewards.

The Dopamine

To have dopamine released for small things (social media, porn, tv, etc) may lead to less motivation. The pleasures are not the problem. Having the pleasures without a prior requirement is. As it can make you feel 'rewarded' while actually you haven't got anything.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination

Be aware that pain/challenge also revoke your dopamine, after the pain is over. The bigger the friction, the bigger dopamine will be.Running for 5 kms, finish a book, write and publish your blog; challenge your self in doing things and once you finished, mark it as completed then the dopamine will get released.So instead of seeking small pleasure (and risking yourself to be dopamine rush for unnecesary things and feel less motivated after), swith to seek for pain/challenge. It will improve your dopamine level and also your life.

Caffeine is a stimulant, which means it increases activity in your brain and nervous system. It also increases the circulation of chemicals such as cortisol and adrenaline in the body. In small doses, caffeine can make you feel refreshed and focused.Keeps you awake making some sleep deals with hormones :: adenosine and adrenaline. Antimicrobial resistance occurs when bacteria or other microorganisms that evolve and change over time become resistant to certain drugs making infections harder to treat and increasing the risk of disease spread.This has become a threat since microorganisms evolve too fast, making it hard for scientists to catch up and create new drugs for the infection.

What is Antimicrobial Resistance? 

The main drivers of antimicrobial resistance includes:<ol><li>Misuse and overuse of antimicrobials</li><li>Poor infection and disease prevention</li><li>Lack of access to clean water and sanitation</li><li>Lack of awareness and knowledge</li></ol>There are many more factors that accelerate the emergence of antimicrobial resistance, but I am going to focus on these four.

Main Drivers of Antimicrobial Resistance

<ul><li>Always, and I mean ALWAYS, seek a physician and ask for a prescription if you think you have an infection. </li><li>Do not self-medicate with these drugs. A certain drug regimen must be followed for every microorganism. </li><li>Take them EXACTLY as your doctor tells you, and do not stop taking your antibiotics just because the symptoms of the infection become more tolerable for you. </li><li>Do not save them for later. Talk to your pharmacist about safely discarding leftover medicines. Also, do not hesitate to ask your pharmacist how to take antibiotics (for example, if you missed a dose).  </li></ul>

Correct Way of Using Antimicrobial Drugs

There are small changes that everyone can do in order to prevent this global threat, and it is to start in the prevention of having infections and diseases. <ol><li>Start with basic hygiene and sanitation. Wash your hands. Learn about disinfecting your own home. </li><li>Get vaccinated. Vaccines are created to prevent the infection of certain microorganism. </li><li>Educate others about this issue. </li></ol>

Basic Ways of Preventing Antimicrobial Resistance

As a pharmacy student, I am willing to share and educate people about this. The development of new antibiotics has slowed over time, making this issue more serious.

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) occurs when bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites change over time and no longer respond to medicines making infections harder to treat and increasing the risk of disease spread, severe illness and death. 

Antimicrobial Resistance: A Short Discussion

It might sound stereotypical, but a lot of people have this perspective of scientists being less artistic and more rigid than others. Meanwhile, artists are usually perceived as people who are less rational than the rest of the population. Often described as the right side of the brain versus the left side, or artistic creativity versus logical thinking, artistic and scientific minds are usually considered polar opposites.

Artistic Vs Scientific Mind

At first glance, Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso probably don’t have many things in common. While one is responsible for some of the most crucial scientific breakthroughs in history, the other one is known for his celebrated and impressive artistic masterpieces. If you compare an artistic mind and a scientific mind, you might be surprised that they actually have many things in common.

Scientists vs. Artists: Great Minds Think Alike

Throughout history, great scientists and artists shared one common trait, and this is none other than curiosity. Artists and scientists view the world with this thirst for knowledge and they work hard to comprehend how it works. Artists express their views of the world in physical art pieces while scientists meticulously test their theories.

To put it simply, both scientists and artists tread on the same path of initial free thought until they reach the point where they need to act. This is the part where the path divides into two. Those with a scientific mind follow a certain set of rigorous rules and testing to get to their point of understanding.

While most onlookers may see the fields of science and art as two totally different things, the truth is that there is a strong connection that binds them together. Both of them have inquisitive minds.

The key difference between science and art all boils down to the modern attitude of form and rules.In general, modern science seeks to shore up and reevaluate the years of research that led to the present conception of today’s material world.Once new knowledge recasts or disrupts the existing framework of knowing, science doesn’t radically shift or overhaul its base rules but adapts them more cautiously instead.

Differences between Artistic Mind and Scientific Mind

Modern art has almost as many discoveries when it comes to aesthetics and form, but it is more susceptible to radical shifts and usually veers off tradition, which is what happens at least to the most popular forms of art.

It wouldn’t be easy to claim that every artist that operates in the modern era ditches tradition, although high-profile examples tend to do so. Every time you see news about modern artists, they don’t seem like they want to make incremental advances in the knowledge field – unlike scientists that seem to do so. They may be making a more radical turn in a completely different direction altogether.

As expected, even if art and science are distinct from each other in terms of knowledge use, these two fields overlap massively. The obsession with knowledge from the two ends typically means that the thought process of the scientific mind and artistic mind is more similar than you might think.

Forgetfulness and Memory

Unhealthy lifestyle choices are major factors in memory loss. Not having enough sleep, not having a healthy and balanced diet, and not doing enough exercise are some of the causes that lead to bad brain health.

Bad Health equals Bad Memory

There are some effective and practical ways we can improve muscle memory. According to Dr. Small, he has a method called :Look, Snap, Connect Look - Slow down. Take a second to remember what you have to record in your brain. Really look at the details or listen and process the words being used. Snap - The brain has a natural ability to remember things visually, so leverage that. Take a mental snapshot of what you've just seen or the exact place some important conversation took place. Connect - Associate these images, these mental snapshots to a relevant detail related to the situation in present.

Improving your Memory

Exercise as little as taking a 20min walk daily, minimizes the risk of having Alzheimer's disease later on. Working out on a day-to-day basis creates a scientific thingy, that is referred, in more common terms, as brain fertilizer, which strengthens the connection between neurons and so improves memory.

Get Moving 

This one is a no-brainer. Sleeping is key. Insomnia is the enemy of memory. If you check the rest of my profile you'll have more details about sleeping cycles and sleep specifically.

Get More Sleep

Obesity can trigger late-life brain diseases. Dr. Small recommends avoiding processed foods and fast food. Oxidation is also something that brings wear and tear to the brain, so get some anti-oxidation food into your system such as fish, nuts, and avocados.

Eating Healthy

Training your brain is the same as working out your biceps or chest. Dr. Small recomends this exact exercise that will streghten your muscle memory : Take a piece of paper and a pencil and try writing your first name using your non-dominant hand (i.e., left hand if you are right-handed). Now, take a second pencil and try writing your first name using both hands at the same time. Now, try it with your last name.

NGC 6302 lies within our Milky Way galaxy, roughly 3800 light-years away in the constellation of Scorpius. The glowing gas was once the star's outer layers, but has been expelled over about 2200 years. The butterfly shape stretches for more than two light-years, which is about half the distance from the Sun to the nearest star, Proxima Centauri.
